and fed up with “trying” for years…

Discover how busy adult pianists follow a
result-focused method called “Jazz Piano Pyramid” to
play jazz with Confidence, Freedom,
and Self-expression.

Start becoming the Jazz Player
you want to be.

Yes, I Want to Play Jazz

Dear aspiring jazz pianist,

You've watched tons of YouTube jazz tutorials, bought jazz books, even courses, but you're still wondering:

  • "Why is it, after learning all this information, I still can't play jazz?"
  • "I feel like I am missing something"
  • "I want to play jazz, but I don't know where to start"

I've been there.

And what's even more disappointing is that the internet is flooded with jazz knowledge and resources,

But…

No one cares to explain this significant problem of online jazz education.

That's why for the first time…

𝄞
𝄢

In a few minutes, I'm going to explain like no one else before why you still can't play jazz after years of "learning", what is the real cause of feeling stuck, and finally…

What you can do about it.

And on top of that…

I want to share with you a result-focused method to learn jazz.

The same method that hundreds of struggling pianists used to become jazz players.

The ones who can simply sit down at the piano, play musical ideas from the head, and express themselves with confidence, freedom and mastery.

After reading this message, everything will finally click, and you will see a clear path to becoming the jazz player you want to be.

Owen Chimuka

Hi, I am Owen Chimuka.

I have one goal.

To help aspiring jazz pianists play jazz with freedom, confidence, and self-expression.

I've been teaching jazz for over 14 years, and during this time, I've helped hundreds of adult pianists achieve freedom in jazz.

There's one thing I am 100% certain of…

Anyone can learn jazz.

It doesn't matter how old you are, for how long you have been trying to learn jazz, or how much free time you have in your busy life.

If you deeply understand what jazz is and apply the right method…

You are destined to learn jazz.

And I really mean it.

Right now, I am teaching an 89-year-old pianist who simply decided to play jazz.

And he's making stunning progress every single day.

The good news is…

You can too :)

Read on.

97% of pianists struggle to learn jazz
because they miss this key truth.

When I speak with aspiring jazz pianists, I always ask the same question.

"Why do you want to play jazz?"

And the typical answer sounds like this:

"Owen, I'm X years old, I have a career, responsibilities, and I am really happy, but sometimes I miss something…

I miss being able to express myself, and that's why I want to learn jazz.

I just want to sit at the piano, forget about everything, and simply play whatever I want.

My mind is full of musical ideas that I don't know how to play…

I want to express myself, but I don't know which keys I should press…

I just want to feel freedom and have some fun playing jazz."

Hearing this, always gets me so emotional, but the best part is…

I can help them make it real.

But here's what happens before we have a chance to talk…

They struggle for years, "trying" to learn jazz.

You see, after discovering a new YouTube tutorial, jazz theory book, or buying a course…

  • They get really excited,
  • Learn completely new jazz concepts,
  • Practice every single day,
  • Start playing "real" jazz,

But even though they're moving forward…

  • "Why do I still feel like I am missing something?"
  • "I can't truly express myself the way that I want"
  • "I don't feel like I know how to play jazz"

Because of that,

They lose motivation, miss a day or two of practice, only to stop completely.

With broken hope, they return to their normal lives.

Time passes until one day,

They discover a completely new resource that might finally help them learn jazz.

And, you guessed it…

The cycle repeats itself, and they stay stuck for months or even years,

But the simple truth is…

It actually takes ONE lesson to
break out of this cycle for good.

This ONE lesson…

Helped more pianists learn jazz than any course, book, or YouTube tutorial altogether.

So please,

Do it for yourself and pay close attention because what I'm about to say will save you from years of stagnation, overwhelm, and frustration.

In fact,

You've probably heard about it, but until you truly understand it…

Nothing will change.

So let me ask you a simple question.

𝄞
𝄢

Do you know what great jazz players from all around the world and even from different decades understand about jazz that most musicians completely miss?

Let's ask the jazz legend himself.

Wynton Marsalis

Wynton Marsalis

"In jazz, improvisation isn't a matter of just making any ol' thing up. Jazz, like any language, has its own grammar and vocabulary."

From the book Jazz In The Bittersweet Blues Of Life (2002)

Jazz is a language.

Language of emotions, self-expression, and freedom.

Through jazz…

Musicians communicate with each other, tell stories, and share their unique personalities.

And because jazz is a language, it should be taught like one.

But what do you get instead?

Jazz teachers who teach you new jazz concepts, tell you what to learn, and what to practice, but…

  • They never show you how any of it fits into the language you're supposed to articulate.
  • They tell you what to say, and you have no chance to speak for yourself.
  • You simply play without knowing "why"

And the only reason why you can't play jazz with freedom is because…

No one taught you how to speak the language of jazz fluently.

But,

Once you become fluent,

Once you see how each concept fits into the bigger picture…

You will be able to sit down at the piano and play whatever you feel.

Exactly like Jazz Legends you admire.

So now, I will show you how to learn jazz as a language.

I've spent 14 years
looking for this. Now it's yours.

You can see what has been holding you back for years.

If you want to learn jazz, improve every single day, and feel the freedom of truly "owning the keys"

If you want to sit at the piano, play the ideas from your head, and perform with complete confidence even in front of your audience…

And finally think to yourself: "Yes, I can play jazz"...

You have to learn the language of jazz.

But how?

I will guide you every step along the way.

After 14 years of teaching jazz...

  • Analysing the most complex problems jazz beginners have,
  • Coming up with the easiest and most logical order of learning things.
  • Trying and failing again and again to find the best approach to teach jazz as a language…

After that…

Everything has changed.

Adult pianists who followed this method have achieved outstanding jazz piano progress.

No matter how much they've struggled before, how much practice time they've had…

They've finally started Playing Jazz.

My goal is simple.

I want to help you learn jazz as a language and achieve freedom in music, but…

I have only 24 hours a day.

That's why I decided to share with you the results of my 14 years of teaching experience.

Today for the first time…

You can discover the "Jazz Piano Pyramid" for yourself and start learning jazz the same way as my students.

The "Jazz Piano Pyramid" is all about
teaching jazz as a language.

Jazz Piano Pyramid

When you work with this method…

You start by understanding the most essential components of the jazz language.

Think of them as your first jazz words.

Then you combine these words into sentences.

And by applying it in real jazz standards, you will see how everything connects.

That's the first step to seeing jazz as a language.

And when you reach out to the top two pieces of the pyramid…

You start to think like a jazz musician and articulate your own ideas.

That's where improvisation and advanced concepts fit in.

The top of the pyramid…

𝄞
𝄢

Solo Piano means you can sit at the piano anywhere and play whatever you feel and want to share with the world.

That's the highest form of freedom and self-expression for a musician.

That's what it means to become a Jazz Piano Player.

And pianists who discovered this method…

Finally broke free from years of stagnation and are moving toward becoming Jazz Pianists.

But,

Before you jump into working with this method…

There is one last piece of the puzzle you need to know to make it work.

Otherwise, it will become just another resource that will leave you hopeless.

So,

Have you ever been to Egypt?

The "secret" to mastering jazz
has been right in front of us for 4,600 years.

The Pyramid of Giza

This is the Pyramid of Giza.

But wait,

"What does it have to do with jazz???"

I will understand it in a second, but first, let's look at this photo.

We can say two things about this pyramid.

  1. It's built layer by layer
  2. Each layer (going from the bottom to the top) is smaller than the previous one.

But what's really interesting is this little-known mathematical fact.

Can you guess how much of the whole pyramid is just the tiny top part?

0,004%

That's very little compared to the first layer that takes about 1.5%

The math is simple.

𝄞
𝄢

The first layer is 375 times bigger than the top.

Why?

Because the first layer was designed for only ONE purpose…

To hold over 6 million tons of stone, and keep them standing for over 4,600 years.

Because everything built on top…

…depends on the strength of what's below.

And it's the same with jazz.

If you want to master the language of jazz, express yourself with freedom, and feel confident in front of your audience and yourself…

You have to build an unshakeable first layer.

You have to learn the essential components of the jazz language.

Foundation for every solo, phrase, and tune you want to play.

But…

What aspiring jazz pianists do is simply learn some basics and jump into advanced techniques like improvisation, reharmonization, etc.

In reality…

Knowing the basics is not enough.

𝄞
𝄢

You have to understand them so deeply that if someone woke you up in the middle of the night and said "Ebmaj7", you would play it automatically, with eyes closed.

If you want to become a Master Jazz Player

First, you need to become a Master of Jazz Foundations.

Because that's the only way to build true jazz language fluency.

Mastering jazz fundamentals is your first, and the most important step, to becoming the Jazz Player you want to be.

That's it.

You've spent years searching for this answer.

Trying resource after resource. Feeling a new hope to finally learn jazz, only to realize that's not it.

But now... you have all the missing puzzles.

You know it's all about learning jazz as a language and building an unshakeable first layer.

And for the first time, you have the right method to do that…

Introducing…

Jazz Piano Fundamentals

Everything you need to master jazz foundations and take your first step towards learning how to speak the language of jazz.

But before I show you what's inside…

I have to be honest with you about how this course is built.

I know what you might be thinking.

"I want to learn all 12 keys. I want to play as many jazz standards as possible. I want to understand all the theory."

I hear you.

But you already know where that approach leads…

More information, more overwhelm, more frustration, and that same feeling of "I can't play jazz"

After 14 years of teaching jazz, here's what I know for certain:

The pianists who try to learn everything at once master nothing.

𝄞
𝄢

The ones who go deep before they go wide…

…They're the ones who Play Jazz.

Because of that, I won't teach you chords and progressions in all 12 keys.

For now, I will teach you only the most essential keys in jazz. C, G, F, Bb.

But you won't just "learn" them.

I will fully understand each key so when I ask you for "Turnaround in Bb", you don't think…

I won't teach you 20 songs.

We will go deep with 5 carefully chosen jazz standards that together contain the exact chord progressions you'll find in 95% of the tunes you will play.

This isn't less.

This is exactly what you need.

Learn jazz as a language:

  • 1

    Build the Vocabulary

We start with building the essential vocabulary and movements you'll use every single time when you sit down to play jazz.

And you won't be doing this alone in silence. From day one, you'll be working on your rhythm and feel by playing with the backing tracks.

On top of that, I will show you a unique way of seeing ii-V-I that many jazz teachers skip, even though it is crucial to understand how jazz standards are built.

  • 2

    Develop Your Sound

You'll learn inversions and voice leading. The techniques that make your playing sound smoother and more professional.

Then we'll work on expanding your harmonic palette: diminished chords, 6th chords, extended turnarounds, the Backdoor ii-V.

The exact harmonic colours that jazz musicians reach for when they want to make their audience smile and say "ooofff".

  • 3

    Apply It to Real Music

This is where everything starts to make sense.

You'll take everything you've built and apply it to 5 jazz standards: Autumn Leaves, Fly Me to the Moon, I'm in the Mood for Love, I Should Care, and It Could Happen to You.

These 5 songs together cover the chord progressions you'll find in 95% of tunes and jazz standards you'll ever play.

You will learn how to recognize chord progressions inside real jazz music, and also how jazz standards are structured, so you can fully understand what you play.

What changes when you finish this course

When you finish Jazz Piano Fundamentals, you'll have two things that most aspiring jazz pianists spend years trying to develop.

𝄞
𝄢

You will no longer see music as Cm7 going to F7 to BbMaj7…

You will see it as a "2-5-1 of Bb major"

You will be able to recognize chord progressions at first glimpse, understand how those movements create jazz standards, and identify the same patterns in different tunes.

That's when you stop thinking in terms of "What chord it is?" and you start seeing jazz like a Professional Jazz Musician…

And on top of that…

You'll be in control of your own playing.

You won't need to pause and think "What's the next chord?" or "What keys should I press?"

You'll do it automatically.

Awareness and Control.

That's the foundation of fluency, and that's what you get after finishing this course.

Is this you?

  • An adult pianist who's dreamt about playing jazz but has struggled for years.
  • A Classical pianist who wants to move from reading notes to creating music.
  • A musician who already knows some theory but struggles to apply it fluently.
  • You are tired of "information overload", fake promises, and now want a clear, structured plan combined with a method that brings real results.

If you nodded to any of the above this course was built for you.
